These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OctaRouter ("Service"), operated by OctaRouter. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

OctaRouter provides a unified AI routing gateway: one account, API keys, prepaid credits, and request logs for routing calls to supported LLM providers. Features, models, and pricing may change over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including API key usage.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or billing controls
  • Resell or sublicense access without our written permission
  • Use the Service to generate unlawful, abusive, or harmful content at scale

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or pose risk to the platform.

4. Credits and billing

Prepaid credits are consumed per request according to published or in-dashboard pricing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may adjust pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Third-party providers

Requests routed through OctaRouter may be processed by third-party AI providers. Their terms and policies may also apply. We do not guarantee availability of any specific model or provider.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free routing, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI outputs may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing and using them appropriately.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OctaRouter is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
